| Timothy W. Anderson, Jr. has faithfully served the Kingsley Terrace Church of Christ since 2008. As a member of a singing ministry family consisting of two preachers and two deacons, Anderson was raised up in and later baptized into the Church of Christ at eight years of age. Anderson studied Communications and Religious Studies at Washburn University, and is the creator and editor of “The Anchor” a weekly news bulletin directed toward the youth of the Kingsley Terrace congregation. The Kingsley Terrace Child Development Center (Center) is a Nationally Accredited higher learning pre-school whose curriculum is designed to achieve academic excellence in a Christian environment. The goal of the Center is to develop and prepare preschool children for the kindergarten experience. During the school calendar year the center offers cognitive, social, emotional, physical, self-help, and creative language programs with an interest on strengthening skills in phonics, reading, math, and writing. |

Educational and fun fieldtrips are offered throughout the school year and the summer session. The Center offers a summer camp, a before and after school program, as well as a year around toddler program. The Center is a licensed 501c(3) non-profit organization, and is partially funded by the Child Care Development Fund (CCDF) as well as the Food Lunch & Nutrition Program sponsored through the Department of Education. |
